In Febuary 2006, Tucker opened up for New Orleans Blues legend Dr. John at Aspen's BELLY-UP. His recent projects include composing and producing new albums for Alexia Waku, the Brussels based soul diva and Renata Kamara, currently featured rapping on Mano Gallo's radio single which reached number 10 in the European World charts. In Fall 2004, Fly Tucker while in Belgium recorded his third release, Not Always So. The album departs away from his early pop and alternative country inspired tracks for a more edgier alternative rock sound. " For me, leaving Los Angeles and living in Europe opened up a whole new universe of inspiration and influences which helped to form the textures and colors of my future work."
Rif Raf Magazine (Belgium) described the music as 'Warm jazz-pop meets rock, country, and folk, with soul accents.' His first release in 2001, Virtual Velvet, has been featured on alternative/ college radio such as Los Angeles' KCRW and other "indie" stations throughout America.
